When you become a member of the society and provide us with your contact details.
If your membership has lapsed, we will email you directly and ask if you are happy for us to continue holding your data. We will only continue to hold your data if you give us your consent to do so.
The e-mail address of non-members who contact us will also be held by the Society.

To disseminate information about the activities of the Society including the forthcoming programme, regular and ad hoc activities and social events.

Where is my data held?
The Treasurer, who has responsibility for membership, is our Designated Data Controller, and will hold your details securely. The Treasurer will share this information with the committee in order to facilitate the effective and efficient running of the Society.
