Our next meeting is the AGM. At our final meeting for this season, on 16th May, we have a guest speaker, Julie Manning, who will speak on Writing in the Digital Age.
Julie is one of a new breed of writers, publishing through apps and social media channels. With a nod to the past when novelists such as Dickens published their novels in weekly instalments, her latest book Not The Relationship Type was available chapter-by-chapter on Wattpad in 2023. Will self-publishing on apps, Amazon and social media finally force the end of traditional books?
